Today was the first time in months that I wished I had a camera. My sister-in-law Lacey's grandparents treated us to passes to a tour of the USS Midway, a decommissioned aircraft carrier docked in San Diego. We had a blast and I was wishing the entire time that I could take pictures to post here. Instead, when we went to the Apple Store later in the day Eric and I took this picture.
We are having a good time, learning some (much of the learning happens later when we unpack new ideas in our own context) and getting to hear/meet some great people.

I'm so glad you two are having a good time. Eric was really looking forward to spending time with you in SD and it sounds like all has gone well. I'm glad you were able to tour the Midway - it brings so much joy to my grandpa knowing that people are interested in things like that. Say hello to SD for me! I miss the place.
